Part of our objective is to provide our community with the resources they need to inform their assessment practices. Below there are several references to information and resources that may be useful to you in your assessment practices.

Trainings

Each semester our office offers several virtual trainings on various topics related to assessment, evaluation, Qualtrics, and Excel. Below are the trainings with details about the sessions and link to register being offered in the Fall 2023 semester:

Advanced Qualtrics The purpose of this session is to share the advanced features and options available in Qualtrics that you can use to create customized surveys. Some topics covered in the session include using display and skip logic, customizing survey flow and distribution options, and organizing results and reports. This session is open to everyone, but a basic understanding of Qualtrics and how it operates is recommended. 2/29/2024 12:15 p.m. Register
Designing Surveys The purpose of this session is to share recommendations, tips and tricks, and common practices for designing surveys to meet your assessment, evaluation, and research needs. Some topics covered in this session include developing items that align with your purpose and goals, organizing the flow of your survey, and choosing your survey format. *Registration closes at 1700hours the week before the session is offered.

External Resources

There are many organizations and institutions that provide articles, resources, and templates that you can use for assessment-related activities. These materials are available by topic or in sequence with trainings, workshops, and webinars.
