Roosevelt Featured on “With Good Reason”
LEXINGTON, Va. Oct. 17, 2024—Maj. Megan Roosevelt, assistant professor in the Department of International Studies and Political Science at Virginia Military Institute, will discuss what drives anti-immigrant attitudes in the United States and Europe on the public radio program, “With Good Reason,” Oct. 19-26.
In addition to Roosevelt, the upcoming show, “Border Crossing,” will feature Lillian Frost from Virginia Tech, Gina Longo from the Virginia Commonwealth University, and Sophia Sexton from Northern Virginia Community College. The episode will share the deep history of Jordan and its shifting immigration policy, the unwritten rules of spousal visas in the United States, and how stories of immigration are being shared through personal writing.
