LEXINGTON, Va., Jan. 5, 2023—The Jackson House Museum seeks volunteers to assist in the museum gift shop. Volunteering at the local historic site provides unique opportunities to interact with visitors from across the country, promote local history, and gain experience working in a museum as well as in retail.

Two volunteer information sessions will be held at the Jackson House Museum on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Each session is expected to last an hour. All interested volunteers should plan to attend a session, and need to RSVP to Pamela Kouame at 540-464-7704 or kouamepf@vmi.edu. If unavailable to attend either session, call 540-464-7704 to schedule a time to meet with a museum team member.
