LEXINGTON, Va. April 19, 2024 — Virginia Military Institute hosted its annual VMI Day FTX weekend April 6, attracting eight schools and a total of 218 visiting cadets from various detachments in the region.  

Two days later, a group of Det 880 Cadets embarked on a visit to Joint Base Andrews.

Highlights of the excursion included witnessing the EOD demonstrations, Security Forces Military Working Dog presentations, 1st Helicopter Squadron and 99th Airlift Squadron visits, 316th Aerospace Physiology insights, and a stop at the Base Exchange.
