Spotlight: Thomas Jefferson Letters, 1821
From the Claudius Crozet Papers. While teaching engineering at West Point, Claudius Crozet became interested in Thomas Jefferson's newly established University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He initiated correspondence with Jefferson; two of Jefferson's replies are part of the Claudius Crozet Papers.
