Col. Atin Basuchoudhary will be featured on the public radio program With Good Reason Aug. 19-25. On the episode, entitled “The Many Indias,” Basuchoudhary discusses the third largest religion in the world – Hinduism – and its staying power while other religions have died off.

Under a picturesque blue sky, the change of command parade was held on the Parade Ground at Virginia Military Institute Sunday, May 14 at 2 p.m., as the 183rd Regiment handed over leadership of the Corps of Cadets to the 184th Regiment for the 2023-24 academic year.  

Col. Barry Cobb and Col. Jeff Smith, professors in the Department of Economics and Business at Virginia Military Institute, will discuss ways to pay for retirement and the best age to start drawing Social Security on the public radio program, With Good Reason, April 29 – May 5.

The Virginia Military Institute Ethics Team recently won first place at the Military Ethics Case Competition held at the United States Naval Academy (USNA) Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership in Annapolis, Maryland.  

The two-day, multi-institutional collegiate competition included 36 teams. During the preliminary round, VMI scored three wins beating teams from the United States Military Academy West Point, Rollins College, and William & Mary.
