Events
Each year, the Cyber Defense Lab will host a number of events for current and prospective cadets to offer increased experiential learning and the opportunity to hear from and interact with prominent figures in the cybersecurity community.
Summer 2024 Events
CyberSmart High School
The VMI Cyber Defense Laboratory will host its fourth annual CyberSmart workshop for high school students June 17, 18, 20 and 21. Hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This week-long workshop is offered at no cost to students and is only available to U.S. citizen or permanent residents. Each day will include hands-on immersive activities, intriguing demonstrations and instruction, and gamified learning.
CyberSmart Middle School
The VMI Cyber Defense Laboratory will host its third annual CyberSmart workshop for middle school students June 24-27. Hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This week-long workshop is offered at no cost to students and is only available to U.S. citizen or permanent residents.
