Virginia Military Institute hosted Senior Military College Cyber Fusion April 16 – 18 in Marshall Hall. Participating senior military colleges (SMC) include Norwich University, Texas A&M, The Citadel, University of North Georgia, Virginia Tech, and VMI.

Binh Tran ’23 is working to help parents of children with hearing impairments, and presented his research in his senior thesis. The goal of this multi-student project is to develop an app to help parents of hearing impaired children perceive the same sense of hearing that their children hear.

For the first time in history, Virginia Military Institute cadets have received active-duty direct commissions to the USCG by way of the Auxiliary University Programs, and will take their oath of office and receive their first salute at the Joint Commissioning Ceremony in May.

VMI Again Ranked Highly by U.S. News and World Report

Virginia Military Institute has retained its high placing among the nation’s best colleges, according to college rankings released this week by U.S News and World Report. Among public liberal arts colleges, the Institute ranked fourth.
