Adjunct Position for Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at the Virginia Military Institute, Lexington, VA, seeks to fill adjunct position(s).  Appointment date is to start January 1, 2024.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 graduate hours of chemistry credits; Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry is preferred.  Applicants must have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.  Primary teaching responsibilities will be general chemistry lectures and labs; class sizes are usually 18-24 cadets.

Virginia Military Institute is a state-supported four-year undergraduate military college of liberal arts, engineering, and the sciences. It is in the southern Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
